Pastor Gabe Jones

Gabriel and his wife Ashley are the Young Adult Pastors at Family Cathedral of Praise in Mesquite, Texas. In 2005, Gabe graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a bachelor’s degree in Church Ministries. His wife, Ashley, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor’s Louise Herrington School of Nursing in Dallas, and is currently an RN at Medical City of Dallas.

Gabe loves theatre and would enjoy one day pursue a degree in directing. He had the privilege of assistant directing with the theatre department at Waxahachie High School. Gabe trained in improvisational comedy at Four Day Weekend in Fort Worth and has performed in hundreds of shows in churches and venues since 1999. Gabe is also a professional percussionist who has taught private lessons since 2001. He served as the Head Percussion Instructor for the Waxahachie High School Band program for the 2004-2005 school year. Gabe and Ashley are extremely excited about what God is doing all around them and are completely humbled that he is using them to make a difference. They have a deep burden for people and thank God that he has called them to reach young adults. They are thrilled about the change they see occurring in people, the growth in the Body of Christ, and the leaders that God is raising up among them. More than anything, they desire that people come to trust in the amazing love of Jesus Christ, choose to live life with Him as Christ Followers, and grow in authentic relationships and real discipleship. Gabe and Ashley, along with this generation, are deeply hungry for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the transformation of lives, and the intentional outreach and ministry of Christ Followers to the world around them.
