Genesis Strand

Genesis has been in the Creative Arts Worship Dance Ministry for 15 years.  She began on the Kids team at 11 years old and has grown so much throughout her years in this ministry.  She has been the event coordinator for the past ten years and has put together an incredible Christmas schedule each year.  The team has ministered at Six Flags, the Dallas Arboretum, the Biblical Arts Center, Dallas Heritage Village and several nursing homes to spread God’s love and the Christmas message.  

She is happily married to Jason Strand, the Worship Pastor here at FCOP.  They are also serving as leaders in Asylum Youth Ministry.

            “I love using dance (the entire body) to worship God.  It is such an expressive form of worship and I am excited about what God is doing in and through this ministry.”
