Pastor Jason Strand

Jason serves as the Worship Pastor at FCOP. He and his wife Genesis met in 2002 at FCOP and were married in 2009. The year they met he also began to feel the call of God on his life to serve in ministry. He and Genesis have both served in the youth ministry at FCOP since 2002 and continue to serve as leaders at Asylum. Jason felt the overwhelming call to begin leading worship in 2005 when the original youth worship leader was leaving.  He was in no way prepared (are we ever?), but God has trained him up to do exactly we He called him to do. He loves to have the great opportunity to lead others in worship and desires to see the people of God worship with passion. He leads not only on Sunday mornings, but also at Asylum and Avenue services. Genesis is a pastors wife with an amazing heart for ministry as well. She serves weekly at Asylum, is a leader on the Creative Arts team, and is the director of our coffee shop called “The Cove”.
