What To Expect When You Visit
Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go?
We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us or visit the Welcome Center when you visit.
When are services?
Services are on Sunday mornings at 10:10 and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
In the Sanctuary you'll find a refuge from the distractions of our busy world with worship that features sacred music – from classical to contemporary – in a contemplative setting. All services typically last 75 minutes.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
Where do my children go?
FCOP KIDS is the perfect place for your children infant through fifth grade to go while you attend service. If you would like your children to go to Kid's Zone, visit the Children's Welcome Center located in front of the Auditorium. Your children will be checked in, and you will receive a receipt sticker which you will need in order to pick up your child.
For the safety and security of your child, it is important that you keep track of your receipt sticker. This helps us know that you are the person authorized to pick up your child.
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider FCOP your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving to FCOP. You can give by check or cash during the service, or you can set-up an online giving account.
I have hearing and/or visual problems. Is there any special assistance?
Yes! For those who are hearing impaired, we have you covered. Check out our Deaf Ministry page.
For those who are visually impaired, we have projection screens throughout the auditorium to help you see what's happening on stage.
